Testimonials:

"You may not be an expert on Fairy Shrimp going into Mary Belk's course, but rest assured you'll leave feeling like you know fairy shrimp and that you have the tools and know-how to be comfortable to work with them.  You get life history, identification technique, plus, not only an introduction, but rather a guided tour into the Fairy Shrimp world. There is something special about Mary Belk's personal guide into the shallows. Thanks Mary!"    Charles

Mary’s instruction makes the challenging study of California fairy and tadpole shrimp identification a real joy and a great learning experience. Mary’s knowledge of the subject matter and approach to teaching more than met my expectations and I highly recommend her class for anyone seeking to be able to confidently survey for these wonderful and mysterious creatures of the ancient vernal pools of California. As my friend and colleague Charles so aptly stated,” There is something special about Mary Belk's personal guide into the shallows.” Thanks Mary!   Joe
